The Website
Our website is a very sophisticated, automated site driven by a powerful, custom database that has required a large team of experts to develop. The homepage of our site is where we feature and give away at least one hunt to our Members and visitors to the site, every day of the year! The Participating Outfitter who is giving away the Hunt of the Day is featured on our home-page that day. The link below the photo will take our Members and guests to your featured hunt page, which also provides a link to your personal profile page on our site. From there, they can go to your personal website. On that one day, your website could easily receive more visits by hunters than it might receive in an entire year.
“Participating Outfitters”
Becoming a Participating Outfitter is simple, and requires no cash outlay. You will find this concept totally unique and different in that you will actually make money by giving away hunts that you normally have a hard time booking. But we’ll talk about that and the many other benefits you will receive as a Participating Outfitter in just a minute. First, let’s take a look at the foundation that makes this program work.
As a Participating Outfitter of MyDreamHunts.com™, we only ask that you provide us with the same things that most of you already do. First, we ask that you make available at least one hunt per year (minimum value of a $1,000), to be given away on our website. The value and duration of hunt must be equal to your advertised or published hunt value and duration, without any inflation in value or reductions in hunt durations. Most of you have given hunts away in the past to booking agents, as show specials, or to a local, state, or national organization in hopes of gaining marketing benefits from the donation.
We do not take or use these hunts ourselves. Instead, we facilitate giving your hunt away on our website. This is done every day on our website through a computerized, random selection process. The value of the hunt, or how many hunts you make available, determines the percentage you will receive of the total advertising revenue.
Secondly, we ask that you provide our Members with a 15% discount for any hunts they book with you. For those of you who work with booking agents, you know this is a comparable percentage to what you normally pay to have your hunts booked through them. It is also much less than most outfitters spend advertising, or running the show circuit. Since the 15% discount is passed on to our Members, they will be sure to use our directory of Participating Outfitters to book all of their hunts. So, how can you make money if you are giving hunts away? It is actually very simple. If you are like most outfitters, you end up with un-booked hunts every year. That is like money down the drain. MyDreamHunts.com™ provides a platform where you can benefit financially by giving these hunts away.
In return for the benefits you offer our Members, we share up to a total of 25% of our Total Monthly Advertising Revenue with you each month. That amount is determined by dividing the total value of hunts the Outfitter has made available to date, by the total dollar amount of hunts made available by all Outfitters to date.
