This is a three-day deer hunt for one hunter. The hunting dates are September 23rd through September 26th, 2010. The hunt runs from Thursday afternoon through Sunday morning and must be confirmed thirty days prior to hunt date. You will be hunting at the Cedar Knoll Hunting Lodge on Lakeview Plantation. This region is generally considered by wildlife biologists to contain "the best deer habitat in the world". The owners, Hayward and Dona Simmons, are committed to provide you with the highest rate of success on quality deer in the country. Cedar Knoll’s broad based habitat management program and unlimited year-round supplemental feeding program has been designed to enhance all types of wildlife, especially white-tailed deer. Their efforts have created one of the most intensively managed hunting properties in the Southeast. In 2007, Cedar Knoll customers experienced a success rate of well over 100% on bucks with a 70% success rate on bucks 2.5 years or older, averaging approximately 8 points and 15 inches in width.
