This hunt is for 1 hunter for a 3 day coyote/wolf hunt, in the Peace River Country of North Western Alberta Canada. Our three day wolf hunts and coyote hunts are based from our lodge. These hunts are a great winter hunt! The boreal forest, farm land transition terrain provides high numbers of these wary predators in Northern Alberta giving hunters an opportunity. The days are short and the temperatures can be cold but the hunt is great. It can be a social hunt at times it can be solitary, you will see the country side and you will enjoy the evening home cooked meals and the many stories that are a part of the evening sharing that takes place. Expect temperatures to be cold in January -40F to -10F. The hunting dates will see many days with a bag lunch and beverages being provided. You should expect to be out all day. Plan to dress in layers our weather can be unpredictable with warm ups happening or fast hard temperature drops. You may spend your day in a truck or out in fresh air blind so layers are critical to ensure a comfortable hunt. We are committed to a policy of 100% "fair chase" and stress principles and ethics above all else. The hunt covers the following: Pick up at the Peace River airport. All vehicle transportation during hunt. Food and accommodations during the hunt. Field dressing, skinning and caping of your trophy. Pre-purchasing of licenses and permits. The following is "Not" included in the cost of the hunt: License, tags and wildlife certificate Air transportation to Peace River, Alberta Shipping, crating, and handling of trophy Taxidermy (We can provide taxidermy services at an additional cost.
