Welcome to the north rim of the Grand Canyon and the Kaibab National Forest, home to the largest mule deer bucks in the world! The winner of this incredible fair chase hunt is entitled to a 5 day archery mule deer hunt (bucks will be in velvet) to take place in late August of 2010 or 2011. Bucks average 160”-180” with larger deer possible. For $250 the hunter may upgrade thier hunt to include Merriams turkey, coyote, bobcat, fox and the rare Kaibab squirrel. The hunt includes guide, lodging, field transportation and all meals. The hunters Arizona hunting license, deer tag, turkey tag, habitat stamp, guide tips and cooks tips are not included. Transportation to Jacobs Lake, AZ is also at the hunter’s expense. Hunts are conducted from tree stands and ground blinds and over the past 16 seasons hunter opportunity on mule deer has been 100% and opportunity on turkey has been around 70%. Hunts take place at an altitude of 8,500 ft- 9,200 ft. The typical weather is amazing with daytime temps in the 60’s and nighttime lows in the 40’s.
